About Salam Humanitarian Foundation
A decade-long commitment to human dignity, social justice, and the right of every person to live in safety.
Built on Compassion, Shaped by Crisis
Salam Humanitarian Foundation is a non-profit humanitarian organization registered in Turkey with offices operating across Syria. We adopt an approach rooted in humanitarian work values and human rights principles.
SHF is dedicated to alleviating suffering in light of the ongoing conflict in Syria — with particular focus on the most affected groups, especially children and women. By providing humanitarian, preventive, relief, and development programs, we enable communities to improve their living and social conditions.
Our aim is to reach a safe civil society — one where people are not merely surviving, but truly living with dignity and hope.
From Aleppo to the Region
SHF was born from crisis and built through commitment — growing from a local response to a multi-country organization.

Mission & Vision
Providing Aid & Enabling Change
Our mission is to provide aid and assistance to populations affected by conflict. We strive to deliver comprehensive, sustainable, cooperative initiatives across several sectors — bringing humanitarian and development assistance according to the real needs of communities inside and outside Syria.
We are committed not only to alleviating human suffering but also to the wider field that calls for equal rights and opportunities for all people.
A Just, Inclusive & Dignified World
We seek a society dominated by social justice, enabling individuals to live with dignity and safety. We aim for an inclusive society free from discrimination — one where vulnerable groups including women, the disabled, refugees, and internally displaced people become contributing members and live with dignity and respect.
Our Seven Core Values
These values define who we are and guide every program, partnership, and decision we make.
Equality of Human Beings
All human beings have equal rights regardless of race, gender, nationality, language, religion, or any other status.
Integrity
We are committed to doing our work in a reliable and honest manner — building trust with the communities we serve.
Solidarity
Harmony among our members guided by our principles — working together toward shared goals and outcomes.
Flexibility
We believe in empowering individuals to meet their own basic needs — building self-reliance, not dependency.
Transparency
One of the main pillars of achieving our goals — open, accountable, and honest with all stakeholders.
Cooperation
We share our communities and cooperate with institutions and individuals to provide the best services and manage resources wisely.
Neutrality
We provide services based solely on objective need — never on the basis of bias or preference for any individual or group.
