Challenge

During Ramadan, thousands of vulnerable families in Northwest Syria struggle to secure food. Displaced persons, refugees, women-led households, and the elderly face extreme hardship, unable to afford proper Iftar and Suhoor meals. Without support, many will go hungry, impacting their health and well-being. This project aims to provide essential food assistance, ensuring families can observe Ramadan with dignity and hope.

Solution

This project will provide 500 vulnerable families in Northwest Syria with daily Iftar meals and Suhoor food baskets, ensuring they have nutritious food during Ramadan. By targeting IDPs, refugees, women-led households, and the elderly, we will directly alleviate hunger and hardship. With donor support, we will distribute meals efficiently, offering families the dignity of observing Ramadan without the fear of food insecurity.

Long-Term Impact

Beyond Ramadan, this project fosters community resilience and solidarity, ensuring vulnerable families receive support in times of need. By alleviating hunger, we improve health and well-being, allowing families to focus on rebuilding their lives. It also strengthens humanitarian networks, encouraging ongoing aid and sustainable food security initiatives, creating a lasting impact beyond the holy month.
